![]() ![]() Has this issue not been fixed yet? I saw a lot of people fixed it by opting into the beta, but it hasn’t helped me. I read online that lots of people were getting this error because of an update that was launched last july. I tried using steam to check the integrity of the steamvr files, tried running vrpathreg, deleting and reinstalling steam vr, all to no avail. I’ve opted into the beta, I’ve restarted my pc several times, removed all VR related usb device drivers and plugged them back in, updated the firmware in controllers, headset, and base stations, updated graphics card drivers, and tried to enable direct mode (which it wouldn’t even let me do). Ever since plugging the new base station in (the first time using it on the new pc) I’ve been getting an error that says “Shared IPC Compositor Connect Failed (306)” and I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix it. ![]() I have tried uninstalling the SteamVR and reinstalling it. Looking at the steamVR overlay, everything is green (I. Everything went well until the start of SteamVR. I just got a brand new HTC vive and started to install it with eager, following the instructions of the ViveSetup. However every time I try to run the Steam VR App it does not detect the OR. Everything went well until the start of SteamVR. I have Steam Beta enabled and Steam VR beta enabled. I recently got a new PC and also had to replace one of my base stations.
